Where are factorio saves and mods located?

Hi friends, welcome to factorio-realms.com.

Windows

Depending on the version you installed. These directories are in the different positions. You can try following directories.

• Steam version: %appdata%\Factorio
• Installer version: %appdata%\Factorio
• Portable version: <your_factorio_dir>

To open these folders quickly, just press Win+R and fill the address above.

If you still cannot found these directories:

1. Run factorio.
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
3. Find factorio in processes tabs(Windows 7/8.1) or details tab(Window 10).
4. Right click on factorio process, then click Open file location.
5. Go up and go up again, you will see a directory or shortcut named saves. Just open it.
6. Mods directory is also there.

Linux

~/.factorio

To open it quickly, just open file browser such as nautilus or dolphin, then press Ctrl+L to jump to navigation bar.

MacOS

~/Library/Application Support/factorio
